Terms of Use

Effective 1 September 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of Vocetta. If you use Vocetta for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization. A separately signed agreement or order form controls to the extent it conflicts with these terms.

The service

Vocetta connects customer-selected communication tools to a customer-operated runner that investigates software issues against customer-controlled codebases. Features may include code indexing, investigations, generated recommendations, tickets, pull requests, and integrations such as Microsoft Teams.

Accounts, permissions, and acceptable use

You must provide accurate information, protect credentials, and grant only the permissions necessary for your intended use. You may not use Vocetta to break the law, infringe rights, introduce malicious code, bypass security controls, interfere with the service, or process data without authorization. You remain responsible for the content, code, integrations, and instructions you provide.

Teams app

The Vocetta Teams app is installed into a specific Team and is intended for standard channels in that Team. A user must have the necessary Microsoft permissions to install it. Mentions and replies are routed through Vocetta’s hosted switchboard to the authorized customer runner. Removing the app or disconnecting it from Vocetta stops new managed routing; cached operational metadata is removed on the schedule described in the Privacy Notice.

Customer data and confidentiality

You retain your rights in customer data. Vocetta processes customer data only to operate, secure, support, and improve the reliability of the service, subject to these terms and the Privacy Notice. You must not provide data you are not authorized to use. Vocetta will use reasonable safeguards to protect confidential customer information, but no service can guarantee absolute security.

AI-generated output

Vocetta may generate investigations, code suggestions, tickets, or pull requests. These outputs can be incomplete or incorrect and are not a substitute for qualified engineering, security, legal, or other professional review. You are responsible for reviewing and testing all output before use in production.

Availability and changes

We may modify, maintain, suspend, or discontinue features to operate the service safely and lawfully. We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice of material changes where practical. Beta or preview features may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Vocetta is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free output. Neither party excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any additional limitation of liability is governed by the applicable order form or separately signed agreement.
